Break the Chain
Many folks get a kick out of forwarding photos, hoaxes, jokes, petitions, and chain letters. You may enjoy receiving them and you may not. But work is definitely not the place for Aunt Myrtle to be sending you the latest political pun or virus hoax. If you cannot find a way to tactfully ask her to cease and desist on forwarding these types of messages, you can at least request that she send them to your personal account (maybe even an account you rarely check). Also, do your part. If you catch yourself forwarding useless messages, stop, and press cancel. Break the chain, and be part of the solution. Your friends and loved ones, many of whom are also desperately seeking email sanity of their own, will secretly thank you for it.
